| Introduction | I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 1980 with a Bachelor of Education degree, with majors in Drama and Fine Arts. During University I took classes in oils, acrylics, watercolor, design, bronze sculpture and ceramics. After graduation I taught elementary and junior high school in Lethbridge for 14 years. After retiring from teaching in 1994 I returned to my love of art and I have taken classes at the Red Deer College in watercolors, drawing, figure drawing, stained glass, portrait drawing and pastel painting. I am also a photographer and have exhibited my work in the Henrietta Plas Photography Gallery in Lethbridge. I spend my winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where I focus on my pastel painting, working in my outside studio overlooking the Bay of Banderas. I am an exhibiting artist with Galleria Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Also at Nicholia, Lethbridge Alberta. |
