| Introduction | I married Roger in 1970. We have 2 amazing children, Aaron 37, a pastor in Antioch, IL and Jessica 32, a dance teacher in Toledo, OH. At 62 & 58, we're happy to be young grandparents so we can actively enjoy our 6 grandchildren. Boating, fishing, tubing, amusement & waterparks are some of the best times we share. I'm blessed with time & talent to serve the church. I love creating church banners. Hundreds of folks read God's word on them each Sunday! Teaching a free scrapbook class at our church is my second ministry. I operate on freewill offerings. Currently, offerings are designated to replace furniture in the church waiting lounge. In the past monies were used for summer youth rally & community food pantry. I encourage use of scripture on cards & layouts. When family & friends read the cards or browse scrapbooks, they can read God's word as well! At each class I share a devotion on God's will for our lives. I design greeting cards using scripture & photos of church events such as our nativity or flowers at the Easter cross. For each major festival of the church year, we make & send cards to members who can no longer attend services. |
| Interests | 6 Grandchildren & all of God's creation inspire my photography & scrapbooking. Roger & I love to cruise. We've been on 11 cruises to the Caribbean, Hawaii & Mexican Riviera. I don't know if I have enough time left in my life to scrapbook all the beautiful photos & memories we've shared on cruises. We have an amazing Chocolate lab named Cocoa who we found at a rescue on Petfinder.com |
| Favorite Music | When he's not preaching, our son is an organist and choir director at his church. He has extraordinary musical talents. Having a masters in organ and church music, he has been invited to play at Lutheran churches and pastor conferences all over the nation. Having a degree in dance education, our daughter choreographs awesome routines for a studio in Toledo, OH. Our grandaughter also dances in her Mom's routines. They will be competing in a national dance competition at Disney World in June 2008! When our kids are making their music, it is my favoite music! |
