| Introduction | Not so long ago, I moved far away from my beloved home-state, Kentucky, to brave the wild winters and apparently flood-waters of northern Illinois, a little north-west of Chicago. I work as a Financial Analyst for a big corporation (seriously, whooda thunk?!). I spend my days with spreadsheets and trying not to trip over invisible cords, and playing with my adorable little doggie-friend, Chico. I miss my friends & family back home more than I can say, ESPECIALLY my beautiful new nieces, but my job is good and I live in a house with a great backyard and a scary basement. Coffee is my only means of coherence before at least 10am, now that the precious Ale8 has left me as an ordinary staple of my life. I read a lot and am a master of the art of procrastination. | Interests | hmm... accounting, reading, movies, cooking, baking, being with my friends, playing with my doggy, lazy mornings drinking a venti caramel macchiato (with an extra shot...), sleeping, music, all the normal stuff (except tuna), hiking, leading random roommates through caves without flashlights :D (you know you still love me.....) |
| Favorite music | the two infamous CDs are my favorite, but other than that... hmm. Lately, Relient K, Tegan & Sara, Snow Patrol, Matchbox 20, Ingrid Michaelson, BNL, Kate Nash, Third Day, Bloc Party, Lily Allen, Regina Spektor, other people. |
| Favorite books | lots of them. let's try authors, cuz it's easier: janet evanovich, ted dekker, john grisham, victor hugo, alexandre dumas, c.s. lewis, jen lancaster... I've been trying to branch out and read more authors than the usual, with some success. I mostly just devour books. |
