Introduction My poems have been awarded a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, scholarships to the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers' conferences, and an Academy of American Poets Levis Prize. I am the author of Errata, winner of the 2014 Crab Orchard Series in Poetry Open Competition Award, selected by Adrienne Su (Southern Illinois University Press, forthcoming 2015). My chapbook, In the Carnival of Breathing, won the Fall 2009 Black River Chapbook Competition (Black Lawrence Press, 2011), and Back-Talk, won the ROOMS Chapbook Contest (Articles Press, 2010). I hold an MFA from Northern Michigan University, where I served as poetry editor for Passages North, and a PhD from the University of Utah, where I served as poetry editor for Quarterly West. At present, I am the Visiting Assistant Professor in Poetry at the University of Oregon.
