| Introduction | I am a retired engineer and live on a farm in the area where I grew up as a son of a small sustenance farmer. I have been happily married for forty nine years, have six children and nine grandchildren. I have been fortunate enough to stay employed all of the time my children were growing up and I have had enough to keep them clothed and fed. Since I am now retired, I am spending most of my time doing things that I always wanted to do but never had the time to do while I was working. I hope it is not too late, and I hope that those of you who read my blogs receive some benefit from them.
