| Introduction | I started running when I was 10. I was quite good, even if I say so myself.I specialised in middle dist track and cross country. My proudest running acheivement to date is my 2 QEGS records that still stand to this day some 23 years later. At around 15 the running stopped & I took up rugby seriously. I played nearly 300 games for Penrith and represented Cumbria a handful of times. I finally stopped playing rugby aged 34 and was lost for something to do that I could fit around my family. Thus a return to running beckoned.......... |
