| Introduction | This blog was created by a true accident. A friend came to me and asked me why I wasn't blogging. I asked myself the same question and here I am! There is way too much to tell about myself, but here's a little. I was raised in Virginia Beach,Va. I now live in Charleston, SC with my husband. I had many strong female influences growing up, which is exactly why I have created this blog. By having influential great grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, mother figures, and dear friends I have become who I am today. Taking a little influence from each of them, I have combined their ideas and become a woman who never gives up on a friendship, always says I'm sorry, makes notions to let people know I care about them, expresses my passion about an idea by talking way too much, and loving to entertain. I will offer my ideas and opinions about each of these areas. This blog is simply a way to get your creative juices flowing and live life as an adventure. Let's start this journey..... In case you are wondering where Khak came from, my nephew couldn't quite say Kelly when he was 11 months old, so "Khak" was born. |
