About me

Introduction	I live in a huge neighborhood nestled in Northwest Indiana and have an adorable 5-year-old girl named Elizabeth and an amazing husband, Brian. Our newest member Chance joined our family on Aug. 24, 2009. I work full-time as a writer in Chicago, and I'm not the best poster because working full-time and keeping up with an active family leaves little time for anything else. Like many other parents, we were stunned to find out our beautiful girl Elizabeth (Liz) had achondroplasia. We were simply terrified at the time. Now, she's halfway through Kindergarten and continues to amaze us daily. We've also been very fortunate that she's had no major medical issues - just small things like repairable hearing loss. Baby Chance does not have achondroplasia and he's doing well.
