| Introduction | Starting in the early 80's, Steve worked as production manager, road manager, and live sound engineer for groups as diverse as PETRA, SILVERWIND, DALLAS HOLM, PHIL KEAGGY, SHEILA WALSH, LARRY NORMAN, STEVE TAYLOR, and RANDY STONEHILL. Steve has produced, engineered, and / or co-produced over four hundred projects for artists whose styles range from bluegrass to hard rock. As a songwriter, he has been involved in the script writing and production of several multi-media presentations. An award winning producer, Steve has won over 40 industry awards including a JUNO award, several WCMA's, COVENANT, VIBE and MAJA awards. In 2006 Steve won the CGMA-COVENANT AWARD for PRODUCER OF THE YEAR. In recent years, artists Steve has worked with include: JILL PAQUETTE, JAKE, MATT BROUWER, JANELLE REINHART, STARFIELD, JAYLENE JOHNSON, HOLLYWOOD HEROES and BRIAN DOERKSEN. Steve has been a speaker at both the GMA'S ACADEMY ON CAMPUS, VIBE GOSPEL MUSIC SEMINAR, BREAKFORTH and the SUMMIT conference. Steve enjoys being involved in the ongoing development and education of artists and songwriters. Steve, and his wife Cathy, have three children, Christy, Rob and Jon and 6 grandchildren. |
