| Introduction | We have started this blog to provide information for people interested in knowing more about living with an English Mastiff (or two, or three!). There are plenty of great resources on the net dealing with breed specifics and history, but very little practical information. We are attempting to include here what we would have liked to know when we first began looking for a dog. Our main aim is to share the information we have learned over the years and put it in one easy to find place - and in simple terms! It amazes me how many opinions and/or articles are written about Mastiffs by people who don't own one (or if they do they are in a business-like multi-kennel breeding situation) and not in the home living with the kids, drooling on the couch and cutting the circulation off to my feet like ours are! You are in for a rewarding life if you decide to be owned by an English Mastiff :) and we wish you luck in your endeavours to find a gentle giant. |
