Introduction	I am a vibrant and social 40-something year old Wife and Mom who has spent the last 3 years working through the struggles of surgical menopause and a callous and often careless medical system, the deaths of my brother and sister just 3 days apart and the stress and strain it has put on myself and those I love most. Just recently, I received the compassion and medical care my body so desperately needed at the Mayo Clinic, who were able to diagnose me with POTS and NCS, forms of dysautonomiaa malfunction of the Autonomic Nervous System, as well as Hashimoto's thyroid disease. Some ups, many downs, but I keep working hard trying to put back the pieces of my life. Taking it back one step at a time, all the while, trying to keeping my head up high, my crown bright and shiny, and (sometimes)a cocktail in my hand and hope in my heart!
