| Introduction | I live in Buffalo, N.Y. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in early 2003, after years of being told I was lactose intolerant and that I just had a sensitive stomach. I've had some evidence of erosion in my small intestine, so I may actually have Crohn's Disease, but for now it lives in my Large Intestine, so my UC diagnosis stands - as Chronic Ulcerative Pancolitis - meaning it affects my entire colon from end to end. I've been on many different medicines and different treatments over the past 15 years. |
