| Introduction | I am a fourth grade teacher and a PhD candidate. My research is about using dance and movement as a teaching tool in the elementary classroom. I love to dance samba, play capoeira, and swim in the ocean. I am happy under waterfalls and at the "pe de berimbau" in a capoiera "roda." I'm living my dream at this moment as a fourth grade teacher/researcher in Brazil and life keeps getting better and better every day in the classroom. |
