Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
Because the colour of our food dictates what flavours we taste, which is unfortunately connected to a very clever bit of our brains that makes the nearest logical assumption. So if it was red, we would taste strawberry - blue is fairly neutral in terms of what it relates to, so we can assign something new to it - raspberry was the obvious choice :)
