| Introduction | This fellowship granted by Fund for Teachers begins with two teachers who are excited to be learning, sharing and teaching each other about one another’s subject matters. This twelve day fellowship to France and Italy will be an incredible opportunity to document what we are seeing, hearing and experiencing on a daily basis. We will be investigating and researching Impressionistic artworks and artists, Renaissance artworks and many artistic treasures included in haute couture clothing and history. We choose France and Italy because no two countries, when coupled, are as wealthy in art and fashion. While on this fellowship our goals are (1) To accurately document, using video cameras and photography, the connection between history and culture and how they relate to art and fashion. (2) To uncover unique learning about art and fashion that can only be created through experiences within France and Italy. |
