| Introduction | Learning to sew at a very young age has allowed me to use sewing skills both in practical and creative ways . While growing up, and indeed while my own family were growing up, making garments filled my 'sewing time'. However once I had been introduced to the possibilities which lay in the quilting arena I soon became a passionate quilter. My main focus has been in designing quilts using machine applique and free motion stitching . The latter is a particular delight as it offers so much potential with which to embellish ones piece with thread. |
