Introduction I am a professor in the Early Childhood Special Education Program at CUNY Hunter College in addition to working as a behavior consultant in the ASD Nest Program in New York City, and a consultant for families in their homes. While i hold certifications as a school psychologist, special education teacher and behavior analyst and have a PhD in Educational Psychology from CUNY Graduate Center, I am most reinforced by working with families and their children in their homes to improve quality of life for their families. My research on my dissertation addressed the treatment integrity of behavior support plans in public and private schools that provide educational services to children with autism and developmental disabilities. Without treatment integrity, and a system to monitor it, there is simply no point. I truly believe that any intervention that works for all children, only works because there is a behavioral principle at work behind it. Everything goes back to behavior analysis. Everything.
