| Introduction | The name I have chosen for my photography business will mean nothing to anyone outside my family; however, it is because of my family that I was inspired to venture into photography. So it is with pride that I present to you Daelight Photography by Julie Massengale. All of my life I have been under the misconception that my grandfather, Herbert Yeargan (known as "Dae" by his grandchildren), had acquired his nickname through my eldest cousin, Brandon. Now I know the truth: my grandfather's love was so radiant it rivaled only the sun. To experience this love was to bask forever in eternal light. The name, Daelight Photography, is in loving memory of my grandfather, Herbert Yeargan. He may no longer be with us, but his love and beauty may now last forever in name. -Julie Massengale |
