Introduction	I am wife to my soul mate and best friend, Sid. I am mother to two precious pups: Dixie (our Beagle who loves as much as she weighs...a LOT) and Bear (our devoted hound who I'm quite sure would follow us into a snake pit). I am daughter, sister, aunt, friend, obsessor of travel, lover of ice cream, and aspiring soccer Mom. I am a freespirit with a dash of practicality. I wish I was Italian or British or Irish, and secretly fantasize about living in Europe one day. I am easily swallowed up by the power of a great book or song. If I could get back every dime I've spent at Starbucks, I could afford my own store. This is my blog.
Favorite Movies	Office Space, The Godfather, Garden State, Anchorman, Sweet Home Alabama, Napoleon Dynamite, Gran Torino, Old School, Happy Gilmore, Swingers, A Few Good Men (yes, I will recite the famous courtroom scene, prompted or not), Date Night.
Favorite Music	I am addicted to music and by naming my "favorites" inevitably what will happen is that tomorrow my "favorites" will change, rendering this list completely inaccurate but in this very moment - Andrea Bocelli, Travis, Kate Walsh, Louis Armstrong, Coldplay, Chicago, Merle Haggard, Phantom of the Opera/Love Never Dies, Vampire Weekend, Manchester Orchestra.
Favorite Books	There is NO WAY I can name a favorite book of all time. Maybe Little Women. MAYBE. But only because a dozen other books are hiding behind dust and rubble in my brain, too shy to be called upon in this instant. Favorites of the moment - Anything Jonathan Tropper or Marion Keyes. I'm sort of obsessed with them both.
