| Introduction | Born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Always loved toy soldiers and military history. Served two years as a tanker (1st Bn. 64th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division; 1966-68) in Germany. Ph.D. in Speech-Language (1978, University of Illinois). Started and operated MWAN as a one-man show for twenty-two years and 122 issues. Found historical wargaming in 1974 or so. Married for 48 years, two wonderful daughters and five equally special grandchildren. Seventy-three years old. Love the "Old School" wargaming figures and rules. Enjoying getting back into doing some painting. Looking forward to connecting with MWAN'ers and many friends. |
