Introduction	I am an ex intensive care sister bought up in Yorkshire. my husband Garret and I moved up to Argyll in 1992/3 to a derelict, 1745 Lairds House and life became good! We now share our house with Toby (18), Rosie (16), and Freya (14), Two border collies called Holly and Nancy, and as many B and Bers as possible!
Interests	Many and varied mostly revolving around trying to keep the old body from sagging too much. I run, swim and cycle as much as I can around my B&B and family duties. Garret and I have completed a sprint triathlon held every September for the last three years with the odd 10k along the way too. Horse riding is a biggy and will feature lots on the winter months on this blog. Reading has been a passion all my life, one that Freya has inherited.
Favorite Movies	Black and White Ealing Comedies especially Whisky Galore and Kind hearts and Coronets, Fiddler on the Roof, All the Harry Potter movies.
Favorite Books	Any Tolkein book, Bill Bryson, Alexander McColl and the Master...Terry Pratchett.
