| Introduction | I teach middle school students, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, Intensive English. My students are English learners, who have been in the States for less than one year and English is their second language. I also teach Spanish to 8th graders. |
| Interests | Watching a good movie or reading a good book in any of the following genres: Science Fiction, Futuristic, Space Travel, Suspense, Mystery, Comedy, not the dumb ones, Musicals. I hate Dramas with a passion! |
| Favorite movies | Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, all the Twilight movies, All movies with Sean Connery, Valentine’s Day—because it stars so many of my favorite actors, the Tourist—because I love Johnny Depp. |
| Favorite music | I was raised by a mother and father who were very much into music—that’s how they met. Therefore, I was raised listening to all sorts of music—I guess you can say that I have an International taste in music. But, I sure love a good old-fashioned rock ‘n roll song when I’m in the mood for such things. Seldom times, I’m inspired to listen to Latin music, such as salsa, merengue, danzón, or just a sweet, heart-felt Spanish love song. |
| Favorite books | Novels by authors like John Grisham and David Baldacci. They really bring their stories to life for me. I always enjoy reading any one of their novels. |
