Introduction	I hold a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Boston College (1976) and an MBA from Northeastern University (1980) My early career was spent at what is now Brigham & Women's Hospital, a Harvard teaching hospital. I worked in Grants and Contracts. After receiving an MBA I accepted an internal audit job with Bendix Corporation (now Honeywell). Besides internal audit, I was Accounting Supervisor and Financial Analyst at the divisional level. After leaving Allied/Bendix I held Assistant Controller and Controller positions for two small companies in the construction industry
