| Introduction | Two of my favorite quotes: "It takes a clever man to turn cynic and a wise man to be clever enough not to." This is a quote from a fairly obscure writer from the 1930s.-Fannie Hurst. Another favorite: "Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." That's from everyone's buddy Groucho. Here's a quote of my own, "The only love money can buy is a dog and a sales manager." One more good one that contains advice it took me decades to take: "In the world, you must be oh-so-smart or oh-so-pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me." -Elwood P.Dowd in 'Harvey' |
| Interests | Like all Old Saleswomen I like yoga and pilates and trying to make a pretty garden. Of course I read all the time. I have two dogs and one husband One out of three reads my stories, the other two say they would if they could. |
