Introduction	I'm a woman that fell in love with cooking at a young age, especially baking after watching my mother for years in the kitchen. I admired her for being able to whip up such delicious food in a short amount of time for our family during the holidays. The smells and tastes accompanied by the laughter and heavy sighs of full bellies is what makes me feel at my best. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and haven't been able to fully say goodbye to this beautiful state. In addition to my cooking and baking I enjoy creating things with my hands as well as cracking open a new book to read.

Favorite music	I listen to pretty much everything except rap :) some of my favorite artists include: Zee Avi, Staind, Disturbed, Saving Abel, Hellogoodbye, etc.
Favorite books	The Great Gatsby, The Great Escape, anything by Jane Green, etc.

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?

I sing in the shower because I sound my best in there and no one can watch me dance and sing! :)
