| Introduction | What is ELS? The USD ELS is a student-run organization of approximately 40 members and growing. ELS holds General Meetings every month to organize upcoming events and discuss ELS activities. In addition to planning upcoming ELS events, the ELS General Meetings also offer ELS members an informal opportunity to share information regarding environmental law courses offered at USD and tips on finding environmentally-related law clerk positions with firms, NGOs and government agencies in and out of San Diego. ELS also brings in special guest speakers to provide a different prospective on practicing environmental law. These speakers often talk about current evnironenmental problems, how they got involved in environmental law, and tips and advice for law students interested in the field.
