Occupation Receptionist
Location Connersville, IN, United States
Introduction I am a 59 year old woman whom God is STILL working on. I am a wife, married to a wonderful man named Jim. I am a mother to a wonderful and beautiful daughter named Lauren. I am a step mother to 4 beautiful and wonderful daughters named Katrina, Audra, Emily and Amy and step-grandma to little Marlee Grace. I recently became a mother-in-law to Mark, Quinton and Daryl. I was employed full time as a Physician Coder, but after 12 years with Fayette Regional Health System (8 as a pediatric office manager and 4 as a coder), myself and several others were "let go", due to a bad ecomony. Funny how those words take on a whole new meaning when they get personal... Now I am employed as the receptionist at Stant USA Corporation. The desire of my heart is that my children, family and friends come to know God's salvation and the truth of His Word in a way that is pleasing to Him so that we ALL are able to be together in Heaven at the end of this life.
Interests Learing more about Jesus and how to please Him, Cincinnati Bengals, (that's all I can think of right now)
Favorite Movies too many to count... here are a few just off the top of my head: Dr. Zhivago, Romeo and Juliet (the '60's version with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey), Cold Mountain, Braveheart, The Age of Innocence, The Last of the Mohicans, The Egg and I, Fried Green Tomatoes, Mrs. Miniver, Gone With the Wind, Out of Africa, Babe, Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolias, How Green Was My Valley, O Brother Where Art Thou?. (I REALLY COULD go on and on and on...)
Favorite Music Now this is going to have to take some condensation. At various times in my life, my musical tastes have vastly differed from what they are now. In the 70s, you name them, if it was Rock and Roll, chances are I saw them. Then came a Baptist "legalistic" time in my life which saw me (for a good reason, I believed) literally burn my whole record album collection. Now, I love ANYTHING Bluegrass, starting to like Christian Rock (Third Day...thanks, Courtney!), Nicole C. Mullen, still have a soft spot for some R&R...
Favorite Books The Bible (KJV), Lord of the Rings trilogy, Max Lucado...see my Shelfari on my blog!
