| Introduction | I was raised in London, Ontario, Canada. After thirteen years, my marriage failed, followed by 12 difficult years as a single parent living at or near the poverty line. I am so grateful for the support of my family and 2 children. Twelve years ago, I met my second husband. We combined our family of five teens and married 7 years ago. Now we're empty nesters and live a quieter, easier life in the coastal village of Grand Bend, Ontario. We spend summer months at our park model trailer. Camp fires at night, days spent relaxing at area beaches or at camp pools, are treasured indeed. We try to get away to Florida during the cold winter months. The last 10 years I’ve worked either in mortgage or real estate sales, but my 1st love has always been reading. Now I’m writing my own stories. As my writing career evolves, I want to share my journey with others on an on-going basis. Writing has proven to be every bit as exciting and awakening as I’d ever envisioned. It’s also a lot more work than I’d first thought too, with a learning curve the size of a tsunami. But what a joy and thrill to discover that I CAN do this thing called writing! |
