| Introduction | My business partner, Louie, and I do shows in MI, OH, and IN, starting in April and continuing thru november. We carry primitives, shabby chic, kitchen items, country store and garden.. My partner makes cupboards from old materials and old windows etc. We love going to garage/estate sales and auctions. Last year we did go to florida and do the circuit of shows, I think we did over 25 shows last year!!Whew!! We love what we do, it is our passion.. The name Calico Cupboard comes from the story of a coat of many colors -- I pictured Joseph's coat as calico, and Louie puts together one of kind cupboards soooo Calico Cupboard antiques was born. |
