| Introduction | As a High School student, Lynn Royce Taylor and friend, David Musselman, formed a singing duet they called the Gospel Chords. From the beginning they sang nearly every weekend. The Chords continued their ministry for over twelve years. For about 10 years Royce didn’t sing as a career but worked in business and marketing while raising his family. In the 60s, The Vogues from Pittsburgh, sang great songs like, “You Are My Special Angel, Turn Around Look at Me, Five O’clock World, You’re The One.” Royce was tenor vocalist until 1997. 2002 he moved to Nashville and back into Gospel music with the Stamps Quartet, one of the backup quartets for Elvis Presley. Without His relationship to Jesus the Christ, the only begotten son of the true and living God, all of his life would be in vain. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and life begins when you submit to God’s word and invite Jesus to be Lord. The Word of God will never fail you in anything you face in life. The Word of God will not only sustain you in the tough times, but it will shield you in future times. It is relative to any time, with answers for all time. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. |
