Introduction I've worked in architecture for twelve years (licensed for six), and I completely enjoy it. Watching the interns in my office made me realize how many of them were making the same mistakes I did back in the day (which was before the iPod), and I was also struck by how much architectural interns don't know about their profession. This is inexcusable, and it's my goal to pull back the curtain on this profession and tell you everything they didn't teach you in school. While I don't know everything, and this blog is just one architect's opinion and experience in the profession, I'd like to share what I've learned and also find out what interns are dealing with and wondering about from day to day and overall. Note: Lulu Brown is an online pseudonym that allows me a bit of freedom in my explanations and opinions.
Interests Architecture (duh!), yoga, teaching, learning, and getting things done. Oh, and I have a compulsion to flip through catalogs for some reason. And I like making fun of drug ads on TV.
