| Introduction | Ivy: memory, immortality, friendship, fidelity, faithfulness, undying affection, eternal life. Writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the rural South in Crockett County, Tennessee. I attended public schools and obtained my B.A. in 1988 from Union University, majoring in English with a minor in Psychology and Secondary Education. It is my faith in Christ that has brought me thus far in life. I owe everything I have and am to Him. "Whatever it is that I gain from this soul bleeding, let it be worth the price I have to pay. There is no glory to God in works locked away in nightstand drawers or on the backs of overdue bills. We are only failures if we do not try." |

What would you name your ballet inspired by the sight of children leaping through a garden sprinkler?
