| Favorite movies | Don't Look Now, Quadrophenia, Life of Brian, Chocolat, Cinema Paradiso, Doctor Strangelove, Lantana, The Blues Brothers ... so many more. |
| Favorite music | Rock, Classical and Jazz. Stand-out favourites are Pete Townshend, Joe Jackson, Aretha Franklin, The Whitlams, The Cat Empire and anything by Bach or Miles Davis. |
| Favorite books | Too many to list. Old favourites are The Go-Between, About a Boy, Pride and Prejudice, The Diary of a Nobody, At Home in France and short stories by PG Wodehouse. Also like biographies, and good mysteries for holiday reading. |
