Introduction	I'm Laura Hurley - reading intervention specialist.. My favorite thing to do is teach reading! I've had that pleasure in Queensland, Australia, the Bronx, NYC, and in Washington State, where I taught at Tenino Elementary and Middle School for 27 years, in Mary M. Knight, North Thurston and Bellevue School Districts. I've also taught 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades and secondary English Language Arts.

Favorite Music	I'm the mom of two great sons, Robby and Jonathan - both grown. When I'm not collecting books, I collect baskets and beads and make earrings.
