| Introduction | I used to think that being a writer meant you were to be prone to suffering...so when I grew up and stopped manufacturing "suffering", I could not write for a few years. It has returned, the writing, not the suffering. I now see that I still feel deeply but it is no longer about pain- it is about the whole spectrum of human emotion that is part of the human condition. I am studying Creative Writing, which is very laughable, what can one do with that degree? I work in a bookstore where I witness horribly written books, about ridiculously uninteresting things, fly off the shelves. Pretty words, evocative stories, still rock my blood, but it doesn't sell in this day and age of free kindle downloads. This blog is an experiment of me documenting my writing and me joining the bandwagon of bloggerdom. |
