| Introduction | is an educator and mentor, musician, film maker and metaphysician, who has distilled his adventures and experiences into a transpersonal philosophy, progressive humanistic thesis and cultural proposition: Singularia, Being at an Edge in Time. Coming from humble beginnings in rural Michigan, James attended university receiving a Master of Music Performance. In conjunction with being a professional musician and university music instructor, James also perused studies in transpersonal psychology, metaphysics and spiritual practices, in response to life long spontaneous mystical experiences and vision quest. This path eventually overwhelmed ordinary professional concerns, with his being lured into aboriginal Arnhem Land in Australia, in search of a didjeridu. The course of the next twenty years saw him making music CD’s and documentaries, while also working as a shamanic teacher, transpersonal mentor and vision quest guide in Australia. |
