| Introduction | Most of my life I've wanted to create. I began this journey as a writer, working as such for many years in features and advertising. During that time, I was also interested in visual arts that spanned a wide spectrum from drawing and painting to photography to, well, just about anywhere my imagination would take me. I introduced myself to jewelry design when I wanted a unique eyeglass chain. It escalated from there! I've been making and selling jewelry part time for several years at shows, online and from galleries. I will always think of myself as a writer first, a blog lets me combined both worlds. Particulars? Well, earned a bachelor's degree in written communications and linguistics. I'm happily married and enjoy traveling where- and whenever I can, especially to the UK. It inspires me. I've been a Type 1 diabetic for 43 years and have pledged to donate 10% of any profits I make from my Artfire Studio to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. So, visit my studio.
