Introduction	When my sisters and I were growing up in Texas a few of our favorite things to do together were to attend rummage sales, discover new thrift stores and of course, go to all the outdoor flea markets held in the hill country during the summer months. My passion for the "hunt and find" expedition has only grown with time to the point of obsession. I have had the good fortune to visit antique/flea markets all over the United States as well as France, Italy, England and Spain. All the markets are remarkably different, yet the same. After almost 40 years or more I am still out there rummaging through boxes of rusty door knobs and scanning long tables lined with old bits of stuff looking for that fabulous find. I am now a resident of Napa California and continue to wake up before dawn on Sunday mornings to be the first in line at the flea market. After all these years I have learned it all comes down to this ... know what you like, trust your instincts and always remember, things don't have to be perfect to be perfect.
