| Favorite Music | California Garage Punk, Dutch Beat, Any band from the 60s trying to sound like the Beatles. Psychedelic music is probably my favorite- LOVE, THE FACTORY, the KALEIDOSCOPE (both UK & US), but Garage, Folk Rock, and Beat from all over the world is a close second. I also adore BOSSA NOVA & SAMBA. It's hard to name favorites but BRASIL 66 comes in top of the list and then I guess MARCOS VALLE, LUIZ HENRIQUE, ASTRUD GILBERTO, JOAO GILBERTO, GILBERTO GIL, GAL COSTA, CATAENO VELOSO, QUARTETO EM CY, GARY MCFARLAND and SERGIO MENDES, JOBIN is classic but still so beautiful. Of course all this music is a close second to my first love, THE BEATLES! My favorite new artists now are The SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES, NICOLA CONTE, The RAY COLLINS HOT CLUB, The GO GETTERS, THE THANES, The Wildebeests, The Masonics, The Nashville Ramblers and Ron Silva and the Monarchs. |
