| Introduction | I remember loving to go to grandma's house as a small child because she would let me help with the baking. My first experiences in the kitchen were of making cookies. Ahhh, I loved all of the different shapes of cookie cutters she had. We always made homemade frosting and decorated the cookies with sprinkles. My favorite time of the year to bake cookies is still at Halloween and Christmas. As a young woman, I still love baking but have expanded my culinary expertise out of the oven and onto the stove. This blog has been created in honor of two very special people in my life, who I share a lot in common with: my grandmother and Heidi. I consider us to be foodies as we all share the common love of all things food. This blog is open to anyone of culinary interest that would like to share in my experiments across the culinary spectrum. |
