| Introduction | Bakary Singhateh is currently lecturing at The University of The Gambia. He has a Master Degree in International Human Resource Development, awarded by the National Taiwan Normal University – Taipei, Taiwan. Bakary’s passion is in the application of ‘e’ in business and education. He has already presented papers in international conferences relating to how technology has impacted the worlds of education and business. Recently, he was a Speaker at the EDGEX 2012 International Conference, held in New Delhi-INDIA. He believes that new tools embedded in web technologies have altered the way that teaching and learning occur, as well as the environment in which businesses operate. Knowledge is growing at a much faster pace than ever before, and it is as well changing so rapidly that it is becoming increasingly difficult to contain in books and in structured courses. What is therefore apparent for teaching, learning and corporate training in the digital era is a networked and connected type of learning environment. |
