| Introduction | I am a Stay-at-Home Mom living on 10-acres north of Spokane, WA, we call "Cottonpickinfarm." I love to cook, bake, garden and preserve. I love to live frugally, and would choose to, even if I didn’t have to (which I do.)
I love GOD. He started and will complete my life. I still have a crush on my husband after nearly seventeen years! We have four homeschooled children whom we love madly. About six year ago, I helped start a non-profit organization, called "A Hope and A Future." We collect new and gently-used clothing and household items and distribute them to foster and adoptive families in an effort to help retain these valuable volunteers. This is the only service resource, for the entire foster and adoptive families, in our area. We serve over 300 people (55 to 75 families) in about a 3-hour period, each month plus another 1-1/2 hours to set up and 1-1/2 hours to tear down. It takes many volunteers to make this happen each month, and we are always looking for help! (Little plug there) I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends. |
