About me

Introduction	I was born into a family of cooks. My grandparents owned a restaurant where my mother and her siblings were employed. It was at that restaurant where my parents first met and from there started dating and later married. My parents did not choose to follow in the culinary foot steps of my grand parents, rather they made their own path. I, on the other hand, wanted to explore my options. My explorations brought me to my culinary roots. After graduating college with a B.A. degree in Sociology and Anthropology from The University of the District of Columbia, I worked in "Corporate America" before launching my catering company, Little Green Cherry Tree Catering in 2003. I returned to school to learn more about the culinary field, I graduated from Connecticut Culinary Institute in 2004. I have a M.S. degree in Management, as well as a MBA degree. My husband and I have two sons. I started a restaurant club to further explore my culinary passion. Along with catering I offer culinary hobby classes.
