Introduction	My previous passion was Classical Decoupage which I created, wrote about and taught for many years. However, after breaking my arm badly I had to give it up. One morning while lying in bed wondering how I could fulfill my creative urges, I thought of my long term interest in silhouettes and suddenly the inspiration came to me that I could dress them in feathers. I started with 18th century silhouettes but have now developed this art form further and have never looked back. In so doing I have been made even more aware of the breathtaking beauty of birds and the intricacy of their feathers, so a whole new world has opened up to me.
