| Introduction | Welcome! I’m glad I can say hello. I’m Dr. Dan Metevier. I am a “general practitioner” psychologist in Carlsbad, CA, near San Diego. I like working with a variety of clients and often serve as a starting point for those who know something is not right, but don’t know where to begin. I also like to write. I may not be a good writer, but I enjoy it nevertheless. Much of my writing focuses on therapy and “the life well led,” so to speak. I tend to be “slightly irreverent” in my writings and my thinking. I believe it is important that people in need find the right person to help them, someone with whom they feel comfortable and who they think can help them.
