| Introduction | Now that I am officially "in my thirties", I've come to the conclusion that having your life and career planned out by your thirties is for wusses with no imagination or sense of adventure (who I often envy very very much). Right now I'm in grad school for Library Science (the latest in a long line of "career plans") and am happily married to a wonderful man with whom I hope to soon embark on the roller coaster ride which is "starting a family". I love to cook (and hence to eat). I'm currently into quilting. I'm overly fond of using ""'s. A dreamer of daydreams, a believer in Fate, a starry-eyed gal with her head in the clouds who contradictorily wishes she was a modern times, feet-on-the-ground realist. But- I gotta be me. And surely procrastinating, unrealistic dreamers come out on top every now and then... right? |
| Interests | writing, music (jazz), cooking (baking), traveling, digging in the dirt, reading, watching "law and order: SVU", daydreaming |
| Favorite movies | Holiday (with Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant), Singles, The Color Purple, When Harry Met Sally, Trust, My Date With Drew, The Apartment, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Duck Soup, Singin' in the Rain, and almost anything that's black and white with big song and dance numbers |
| Favorite music | Anything jazz( especially Ella ), Dean Martin and the crooners, the Replacements, Paul Westernberg, old country (Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton), Tom Waits, Django Reinhart, Bruce Springsteen, Emmylou Harris, and many many more... |
