| Introduction | My name is Morteza. I am a 45 year old Iranian national who has been living in Canada for the past 24 years. I was born and raised in a city close to shores of the Caspian Sea in northern Iran. I moved to Canada in hope of exploring and seeing more of what the world has to offer, but soon realized that I have become too comfortable in Vancouver and had forgotten about my initial goal. I snapped out of it in 2010 by moving to Shamattawa, Manitoba, then to Klemtu, BC, followed by a year in Whale Cove, Nunavut, and am now in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. I have nothing but great memories from the previous three communities, Shamattawa, Klemtu, and Whale Cove. By far the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever encountered. I have learned so much about myself and life in general from my four years in those communities and am hoping for the same here in Cambridge Bay. |
