Introduction	I am a displaced New Yorker who loves living in the South but I still crave pizza from the little dives on the corner of almost every Italian section of NY and bagels. (Yes, the secret is the water for both the pizza crust and the bagels). I write essays but don't know of many available outlets where I can share my weird thoughts right now, which is why I'm blogging.
Interests	Love to read, especially about Ireland, and Southern and general fiction; my two children; daughter-in-law and two wonderful grandchildren; word games; gardening, grammar.
Favorite Movies	Something's Gotta Give, Field of Dreams, The Best Years of Our Lives, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle.
Favorite Music	Some of everything except hard rock and rap. Two of my all-time favorite songs are: Words by the Bee Gees and I Hope You Dance by Leanne Womack. I currently really like No One by Alica Keys.
Favorite Books	There are many. All books by: Patrick Taylor, Adriana Trigiani, Marian Keyes, Cathy Kelly, Dorothea Benton Frank, Fannie Flagg, and I just read Our Lady of Greenwich Village which I loved and laughed at out loud.
