Introduction	I began my blog in 2006 when my youngest child left for college and I became an empty nester. My intention was to write about the changes in my life. For various reasons, I was not a terribly prolific writer for a while. In January 2012, I decided to make an effort to write regularly and improve my writing--a personal experiment in self expression. While the fact that I am an empty nester does affect my life, I have expanded what I write about. To my readers, I hope you will find something here that speaks to you.
