Introduction	Dave Watkins has been a certified teacher in the Toronto since 1989 having taught at the primary, junior, intermediate and senior levels. Dave is a ‘professional eclectic’ having worked as an associate producer for Aludra Inc. an entertainment company, and acting as president of the ‘Black Film and Video Network’ in Toronto. An accomplished artist, Dave has worked as a comic book artist and has illustrated children’s books. He is a winner of Canada's Governor General's Award for teaching, Niagara University's Teacher of the Year Award in 2007 and The Joe Shuster award for contributions to Sequential Art in the Classroom. Presently Dave is teaching History at George Harvey Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Ontario where he is currently teaching in the Social Sciences department.
